I have been lodging Complaints of Non-availability of INTERNET on our Tri band connection to 1504 form Time to Time. Normally the Internet was NOT available between 6 AM to approx 7 PM. I could not use Internet from Friday 4th inst. to Mon.,7th inst, and intermittently only from 7th to 10th. Then I visited the SDO Office today, who kindly took immediately and got the problem rectified. Let's hope the best. I shall be applying for Compensation shortly. Regards more
@Chetan Bajaj, Even if some 10% of the subscribers would have used the existing guidelines on the lenal provisions, I feel we would have good reasonable quality of services and it would have created discipline in the functioning of the companies. There is no use to make it more stringent if the consumer does not use them. more
All telecom companies are more or less same, whether Govt or Private. more
Useful information but getting such concession would be a herculean task. more
Technically, Companies should rebate a complete 1 month subscription if the internet goes down for more than 8 hours. After all, every time a subscriber has to suffer and by keeping the high amount in penalties, companies will start improving their assets to reduce the downtime. Secondly, Companies must include these things in their Terms and Conditions while providing a new connection. A subscriber can pay more than what he or she is paying to company but a ZERO TOLERANCE policy must be implemented on these type of unwanted downtime. more
