Temple entry for women.
Attempts are being made since last few years to destroy Hindu religious faith in this country by attacking the revered personalities,certain age old Hindu traditions.Before opposing a custom, the reason behind this should be analysed and a via media solution should be taken.Religion is different and constitutional rights are different.Those having faith and devotion,must be allowed what ever may be their gender.The ATHEISTS should not poke their nose in these matters.The women should fight for their 50% rights in Govt and private appointments,and in getting tickets for MP,MLA and local bodies and we appreciate that!Why not they fight against inequalities in inheritance laws,male dominated practices etc in other religions too if they are really fighting for gender equality!This women group should have wider and better interests even nation wide.The temple in question should not allow any devotee,male or female in to the sanctum sanctorum other than the appointed poojaris.If there is special entry system for any VIPs in to the sanctum sanctorum,such system should be stopped in the interest of maintaining harmony in the society.Unfortunately we are treating our temples as musiums,picnic spots tourist attractions and commercial centres!In my opinion, people with faith in the diety only should enter a temple irrespective of gender and faith.In Kerala,for example, a great musician and devotee of Guruvayur deity but of a different faith was not allowed inside that temple which is not correct!We need to change the age old obsolete customs for better future. more

The reason is deep Political and Govet. interference in Jobs and Admin. where as Masjids and Churches do not have these 2 ills . Yes please . True . There have been so many and plenty issues of corruption and misuses in not only Tirumala , but also in other Hindu Temples . In Maszids & Churches the interference of other than Muslims in Maszids ; other than Christians in Churches are not permitted to have a sharing on their Religious Holy Places. And , the entrance also is restricted . This practice and prevalence set their organizations commitment minded in terms of Religious beliefs and candidature . In case of only the Hindu Holy places , this option was set off and , even , the Governments do not still have the real and correct list of Hindus setting off those Converted to Christianity and Islam. This is the main issue helping the Tampers to dilute the whole concept and Culture even in Temples . In this connection , it is necessary to memorize that even in Hinduism , there are several beliefs , Cultures and practices differently and specifically in performance and following like the Liberty in touching the Deity / Restricting entrance into the Piety's Room ; Allowing only Darshans ; Restricting the Female to enter etc., etc., and these are the Regional Practices and even such are also found in Scheduled and Tribal Areas . This is why , our Constitution also mentioned such differentiation between the beliefs & Cultures between places and , Sect , Community etc., more

Kindly let us evolve of all Communities under the Indian Heritage as at 1947 . Let us strictly allow them to their culture whether Hindu , or Muslim , or , Christian . But , let us also remember the issues of setting off Casticism , enforcing Uniform Civil Code , confining Hinduism also like other Religions and their Beliefs . Every Country in the world do have certain rules particularly set on account of = Sin = , Human Candidature , and beyond all , the Civility to get the rule prevailed for peace and pleasantness . But still , Even the Apex Courts every where will not confine only to the individual rights of a Citizen to be vested on all the Citizen in Equality . None is fighting or approaching Supreme Court for want of Constitutional provision at the interest of general public in Food , Education , and Earning Opportunities to live under the specified articles ; but rigorously invest time and money on Social and Communal issues . This is indeed also strange if one think the reality prevalent in the Country . Though individuality is spacious like pleasantness to live in , the Safety and Security even from the Natural Calamities cannot be tackled like those out of Human Power and , is better to keep the nature as safe as its original and I think , the Power of the Act of Environment is also based on such uncontrollable or unmanageable issues please . more

This is just nonsense. What will happen if the women enter the temple & perform puja. If women entry is sin let them face the consequence. Why temple admin is bothered. And what big thing women will achieve by performing puja there. Why can't they go to other temples where there is no discrimination. Why can't they mobilize their husbands, brothers, fathers & all men known to them to boycott such temple where there women are banned. These activists want cheap publicity & the media space. Media want some juicy news 24x7 to make their business. They show the protest of activists as if it is a national issue, conduct the debates, bash the ruling party as if they have banned the entry, opposition parties get the chance to attack ruling party though the conditions were same when they were ruling. Viewers those who have enough time watch the drama through out the day & form opinion depending upon their liking of the parties. TV debates are so farce they do not allow the ruling party panelist to speak and give too much time to opposition party panelist. They even do not mind to stop panelist in the middle to take the commercial break. International media see this & form opinion that India is very bad country to invest & to visit. Everybody has their agenda. Under the guise of national interest every one is baking their own bread. more

The females were possibly advised not to go out to the temples since during that time a gentleman called Aurangzeb was around. He was not very fond of Hindu women and was very likely to behead them. He was very easy with his sword There is no reason to prevent them in this day and age The ladies agitating do not seem to be temple going and Satsangi types. They seem to be agitating for some reason other than women's rights!! more

Very wrong to settle matters of one's religion through approaching Court or political means..Religion is based on faith..there are so many other temples that can be visited..Why insist on visiting a few? There would be a reason that entry is barred which cannot always be debated on logic or within the precincts of Constitution? Constitution was drafted only in 1947, but Sanatan Dharm is forever..Muslim women can't visit mosques..There are no protests on this..Why only insist on breaking norms in temples or diluting the rules in Hindu temples? If there is no faith on the Hindu religion, what is the use of calling oneself Hindu? more
