Test less to report less

Why are so few labs doing the RTPCR test ? And hardly anyone doing at home testing !
So difficult for patients who are unwell and isolating to get anything done . And if they go to a lab/ hospital to get tested , they would potentially spread the infection. Everyone if u tried testing and couldnt get it please say so. Dont keep quiet. Testing games are being played in many states. more

Ms Kanchan, there is no restriction for home collection. Government has notified Labs for home collection. I paid Rs 1200/- for the test. They collected the sample withing one hour after my phone calls. Government testing facilities are also available. One can get themselves tested over there for free. Maximum waiting period 1-2 hour. Since there are suspected cases among the waiting crowd, hence precutions are required. There are three Government centers near CR Park- SDMC Purnima Sethi Hospital, Special testing Center G.B.Pant Polytechnic and Delhi Government Dispensary in Kalkaji DDA flat Market. Government is doing good job for testing. more
there is no labs doing home rtpcr right now more
Delhi Govt urgently has to look into home collection of sample and overcharging. Sure Govt must be knowing this and keeping silent. Having brought down positivity rate, there is urgent need to examine testing facilities and issue direction . more
We are loosing out on active testing of suspects and their primary contacts to minimize spread. Compulsory RT PCR report not older than 48 hrs should be made mandatory prior to boarding any flight -both domestic and international. It is NOT being done for domestic flights to best of my knowledge. In fact government agencies have been probably overwhelmed and are not insisting on testing. So the country is already loosing out. Time to pull up our socks and step up RT PCR test for all travel by air and rail. more
Giving report very late , just to make records on low level more
In Chennai there is an extra charge of Rs. 200 for home sample collection. Dont know why the NCR doesnt have the prompt facility. more
