Testing for Covid - 19 - Prioritisation

Yesterday 53 Journalists were found Corona Positive in Mumbai. All of them were asymptomatic. It could only be known as mass tests of all journalists were done in Mumbai.

All journalists across India, other professionals in essential services, delivery staff, essential goods retailers, fruit veggie vendor, milk store owners, people working at public places, Health workers and police staff must be tested at the earliest on mandatory basis.

Request local circle to take up this issue and get Govt testing prioritised.

Our government is well aware of the issue but without ensuring availability of adequate testing kits to conduct such tests with adequate reserve thereof for the actual needy, such large scale testing is on hold. Moreover, there had been reports that people found negative of the virus during such tests had shown the symptoms of the infection after few days of the test. If such be the case, can we afford to conduct large scale testing and this must be the reason for the delay in conducting of such tests. more
What about those who refuse to undergo test and attack the social workers, healthcare staff, doctors, nurses, policemen? It is important to undergo testing to confirm if one is Covid free, and it is very important to shoot those who refuse to undergo testing. On the spot and feed the body to the smelter of a steel mill. more
Yes it is true all people mentioned above should be tested at the earliest more
Many essential front line workers, milk vendors, vegetable vendors, journalists, kirana store staff, etc did not practice the precautions required and have caught the virus. Hope that they have not transmitted it to others and will all recover. Unfortunately, many politicians, common people (even educated), etc willfully have not practiced the precautions. Hope that all start understanding the seriousness of this virus and follow the guidelines given. more
