Subject to the Booking done in India / Any city you can lodge your complaint to the nearby Consumer forum for lack, defictive and deficient services and seek compensation. So also you can lodge the complaint with Thai Airways H.Q. as well as Ministry of aviation through Thai High Commission (At Delhi/Mumbai) "on line with relevant details. more
I partially agree to the view os Shri Derek Demitruis in the sense that what is the definition of Hindu Meal. One can say Veg meal etc. but how do the Hindu meal is defined. Unless there is a classification in the mean about Hindu Meal, the Hindu words are to be used only by the politicians not by consumers. Even the Hindus do take non-veg food. Secondly there are two points which may arise i.e whether there was deficiency in service of not providing the meal to what has been promised and second would be deficiency in service in not redressing your complaint as per Consumer Protection Act. Please consider these two pints and if you are able to substantiate your case for deficiency in service, you can go ahead with filing a complaint before the consumer forum. You have to initiate your complaint before the Airlines and seek their redressal and in case you fail to get satisfactory redressal, go ahead with filing a complaint before consumer forum. more
This is the main reason why people with genuine problems do not get a redressal!. Before you spent your money on Thai Airways you should have done an adequate research, first of all, no foreign airline can give you a proper "Hindu" meal. (My first observation that you are bringing religion into this aspect as there is no such thing as a "Hindu" meal) if you are so patriotic you should have used an Indian carrier and you would have got what you wanted. Secondly am surprised the airline was courteous enough to say sorry try complaining about the meals in an Indian flight and they will give you a befitting answer. Are you serious about going to Court on this? You either have a lot of time on your hands and expect a lottery to work for you and the airways to come back and give you a million dollars. Your options here are 1. Be grateful you landed safely. 2. Be grateful you are healthy and didn't die of food poisoning. 3. Be grateful to the Indians that cook such delicious food. 4. There are so many places in India that look better than Thailand have you ever thought of increasing your own country's economy and learning about your own country than increasing another country's economy! You really have one nerve to ask for a solution here! more
YOU SAID IT Derek. more
Nothing will come out by complaining in a court. By the way why did you fly THAI if it was 40% costlier ? The only thing the Airlines may care about is by publishing your experience in popular travel review portals which can tarnish their image and affect their earnings in reduced bookings and cancellations more
SURE ENOUGH .....A SINGLE MEAL WILL SURELY ENSURE NIRVANA FROM A LOT OF MEALS ACTUALLY!! THAI AIRWAYS IS THEIR NATIONAL AIRLINE I GUESS! more
