Thanks LC - Apple Acts

Seems like all the complaints on here about poor aftersale service on defective apple products have reached apple and it has set up free repair programme for iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus with ‘No Power’ issue

Apple has set up a serial number checker on the repair programme page. It also states that users who feel they were affected by the issue and have already paid to repair can contact Apple about a refund.

The repair program currently is only meant for devices produced between October last year and August this year.
The programme will cover affected iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices for two years after the first retail sale of the unit.

Apple should also consider this for older versions like 4 and 5 and older iphone 6.

Nevertheless a start. more

Congratulations Mishra ji. Often the service centers try to avoid . Sources like Local circles reach the Top executives , Who are really bothered about the image of the company. That is why we should always try to reach top management if not getting proper reply from local office or service center. more
Rather they are afraid of losing the ground! After all earning of their bread and butter wholly depends upon the trust of the consumers. Moreover, such thing is not happening for the first time, particularly, in the auto industry. We often read the news of calling back the products of certain companies produced during a specific period for removal of the defects surfaced after marketing. more
It appears that consumers have a strong say in a competitive market. Yes, such attempt should yeild good outcome. Wish benefeciaries will share their experience. more
