Thanks Railways - listen to people

Thanks Railways and Minister Suresh Prabhu for withdrawing mandatory Aadhar for Senior Citizens proposal. It is very important that Govt keeps listening to people and their issues.
Also, please give 2nd consideration to removal of flexi fares. your trains are running empty and people are travelling in flights instead of premium trains. more

Dear Subhash Ji, Please be informed that no one can be forced / coerced to link adhar card, hence, should not be compulsorily linked. more
I fail to understand the need of profiling a passenger. Never heard of such o thing anywhere in the world. As per the govt itself in SC, not a single case of fake aadhar has come to notice. It is true that passenger train fares are subsidised, but which group? Maximum subsidy is for 2nd class passenger and local trains & MST. Govt itself has accepted making marginal porofits in AC3 tier. No one has been told the exact status of which trains are making profits or losses. Rajdhani and Shatabdi are commercial trains on profit basis. Does the Government has political wherewithal to raise the fares of monthly season tickets ( 14 fares and unlimited travel) and passenger / local trains 2nd class fares as AC classes have started running empty. more
Aadhar should be compulsorily linked and it should be verified by Machines because forgd aadhar have also come more
Let there be proposal to stop black marketing of reserved tickets. It is observed that the TTEs are not verifying the identity proof of the passengers, where e-ticketings are done. more
It appears that the passenger train and local train fares are highly subsidized. Consider/examine increasing the fares in phases. more
