The critics says demonetisation exercise turned out to be futile

Well, the Main goal or objective of Demonitisation "ie: Checking Corruption and Black Money ultimately a fight against poverty" is being achived by now to a reasonable level, which attained by shifting to digital transactions by very large.

We had a worse economic situtation in 2014 ie: commodity prices, Property prices, College Seats, other expenses and wages were all going up every now and then. The World Bank lowered the GDP Projection for 2013-14 to 4.7% on 17/Oct/2013 and IMF projected average growth rate of 3.75%

On 9/Jan/2019 World Bank pegs india's GDP Growth for 2018-19 as 7.3%

HOW ONE CAN SAY DEMONITISATION IS FLOP !!! more

Yens it is a step inthe right direction . more
