The first move after lockdown relaxation

The moment the lockdown is relaxed, with religious places opening for devotees, the first thing that most citizens and VIPs will do is to rush to the religious place (I am sure about temples). So, these religious places, along with the local authorities, need to ensure social distancing, crowd management, sanitation in and around the places. They cannot leave it to the devotees and the Gods to take care. more

Religious places should be the last thing which should open, there are other priorities for country ans countrymen. Moreover all religious procession should be banned for 1 year at least to avoid any new cases. more
“When religious places open up for devotees” - Not “when or whether religious places should opened”. When they do open, the discipline of distancing (queue with distance between each person), the hygiene in and around etc., something which they need to start thinking about. Probably a simple Darshan to start with, no special poojas by and for the devotees. Basically, one step at a time. more
Sir you have srated the coversation in the right direction ,so have Mr. Chandhok & Mr. Ratti have responded . Less said the better about the craving to worship publicly with lots of fanfare and publicity . People should realize that God dwells in every ones heart , He feels Loved by us when we take care the Poor and the needy around us . No God wants us to add to His wealth . All the wealth belongs to him . Let me not divert the responses . We expect more important responses . more
Excerpt from the TOI today: "India is set to partially reopen its economy this Monday (April 20), after grinding it to a halt for 26 days. The central government's guidelines issued earlier this week allows for agriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry works as well as manufacturing in certain areas. This will majorly benefit India's agro-states that are in the midst of harvesting the rabi (winter) crop, and will sow the kharif (summer) crop in the weeks to come. But on the manufacturing front, the needle is unlikely to move as many of the commercial areas in India are hotspots of the outbreak." more
Relaxing lockdown in places of mass gatherings should be the last item on the government's agenda. And yet, when domestic flights re-start, how to control social-distancing in arrival/departure halls/shops/lounges etc., especially within the aircrafts? The same would apply to trains and buses. Thus, implementation of "relaxation of lockdown" may be yet a far cry. more
