The Gita for our Leaders & Karjakartas

We all are disappointed with the result of Delhi. The reasons may be many as articulated by social engineers/political pandits but I think the most of important factor is disconnection of our karjakartas with the common men after the Parliamentary Election. Delhi has 7 MPs and 27 MLAs but I wonder whether they were in day-to-day contact with their voters, listening their grievances, solving their problems, standing for their causes, participating in their grief, taking care their livelihood, etc. It appears every Karjakarta has taken for granted that our leaders Modiji/Amitji are there to win the voters with their spell bound speeches and development activities and we just sit idle to get elected automatically.

This defeat will give us huge lesson how to communicate with the common men. Most importantly, common men should identify our leaders with clean social humble image, hard & sincere work, available at their beck & call, leading a very simple life, honest approach and mix up with everyone without any differentiation, no arrogance, continuously involve in local social & charitable work, raise voices against corrupt practices and criminals, easily understand and involve in constructive & developmental projects of government, explain the achievements & activities of government with simple language how local people will be benefited, interaction with local people on regular basis, building members upto booth levels and involve them in various social activities. Lastly, avoid cursing opponents but only raise their misdeeds and corruption charges, make weekly plan to visits each locality to conduct door-to-door campaign and listen and address their problems, totally avoid raising religious issues which is detrimental in our developmental work, etc.

Political leaders of this era should not think that they will sit on the dais and accept garlands like heros and present unimaginative speeches cursing opponents to lure voters will not serve the purpose. They have to be well conversant with local issues and give concrete solutions how to tackle these problems if they are elected.

It is impossible to survive using short cut methods under this highly competitive and dynamic political market. It is true if leader is sincere and works hard for his or her constituency no sunami can take the love of their voters.

I am sure if our leaders follow the Indian culture and tradition religiously giving equal respect and affection to all they will never lose any election. But if ego, corruption, dishonesty, show-up, unparliamentarily languages and no contribution to the development of their constituencies persist, their winnings of elections are doubtable.

Hope our leaders and Karjakartas will honour our suggestions in order to fulfill the dream of every Indians.. more
