The joint family is not a practical solution in many cases. Externally little can be done about it. I feel the best we can do is to provide a secured colony with all facilities to those who are willing to live in a similar company. Another possibility is that neighbours pay attentions voluntarily and take care of old persons living nearby. more

Old age homes shd get a subsidy for mess and medicines/hospitalisation. One of newer homes charges 18000 for two pm. This is too much. I hope FM Jaitley wud take note. more
