The missing local MP
I am reposting what Anshu posted below. Till Modi ji or Amit Shah develop mechanism to ensure all BJP elected MPs are doing work in there constituency, they will keep surprises in bypolls and state elections. People may feel good with Lal Kila talks but what matters fare more is crime in locality, sewage issues, corruption by authorities and having a local person to go to. more

very true! even our municipal councilor, who happens to be from BJP, does not keep in touch with her voters. She is so inaccessible, that even if we visit her house we are treated with contempt. more

Hi Could someone from BJP Delhi tell us that what time previously Sh Sh Udit Raj has visited Rohini , Specially Mangol Puri Constituency Sec1 , Sec 2 of Rohini Areas .. If Election happens by any chance we will loose many seats here ..I believe Modi Sir has to tell him Individually or Personally ... Let BJP Party Office Fix a Monthly calendars of all the MPs , they have to spen two hours per day in their constituencies .. more

the MP from Gurgaon is yet to connect. there is even constituency local circle created with some 500+ citizens. yet he hasnt joined. Do the MPs really want to engage is the question in our minds? more

If MPs follow the guide lines of PM and party President and involve in local issues through Local Circles in their constituency , it will be helpful to the locality and citizens of the locality and prospectus to MPs also G.K.Naidu, Hyderabad more

Mitro! very true. I have already suggested to stop canvassing ushering instant all round irrefutable benefits.Thanks to Seshan for banning obnoxious items of canvassing. Make people's representation a TAPASYA which blokes will avoid rather than bribe around and try for party tickets. NOT PRACTICAL heh, see anupam kher's kuch bhi ho sakta hai. I want to see that day in India (like election of sheriff in USA) where candidates dont want to go on taking the onerous task of serving the people without personal benefit.
