The one-eyed mother
Vikram’s mother had only one eye, and he felt embarrassed whenever his friends came to his house. He avoided going out with her, who cared for him immensely.
After finishing studies, he got an excellent job, and after getting married, he shifted to a new, bigger apartment, leaving his mother in the old house...and eventually forgetting that she existed.
One day, after a few years, he got word of the passing away of his mother. He reluctantly went to the dilapidated house and went inside. The note in his mother’s hand read: “You resented me, but I loved you all my life; I’m one-eyed...but had given the other eye to you when you were small and lost an eye in an accident; I thought, it is you, my son, who must live his life without any complex; God bless you”.
He was stunned and felt ashamed of himself, as well as proud of his mother for the first time now, and embraced her dead body!
Moral of the story: Don’t go by physical attributes of your parents...relish their selfless love and blessings! more

Some people can Never understand what parents go thru and do for kids buts these kids take parents for granted always. more
