The PM will be visiting japan and talks will majorly be focussed on Nuclear pact & High speed trains. I hope it should also be inclusive of investment in heavy engineering, electronics, to explore rare earth minerals, and setting up institutions to equip the working class to be skilled. As the PM addressed the nation on the Independence day , about making India a manufacturing hub, i think this should be in the list for bilateral talks. more

Sony Set up a factory in India in 1995 for manufacture of TV sets. The customs slapped a case of duty evasion on components and imposed heavy penalties on them. The orders of the customs authority was set aside in Appeal in 2002 and the Government's appeal was dismissed by the Supreme Court in 2008. However, in the meantime sony closed down its factory as it found it difficult to run a factory in Indian regulatory an tax environment. Presently, it imports all its goods sold in India. more
