There is no doubt that unemployent is one of the major issues of concern our nation is facing today but the the rush of rural people in every city and town for employment on daily wages is not only because of unemployment but also because of their reluctance to work in the agricultural fields, which sector is facing acute shortage of labourers forcing many to abandon their agricultural activity by leasing their land to some prospective farmers. As some of our members rightly pointed out, these people want to earn more with little or less efforts/labour. This kind of mindset needs to be changed and our government should on priority create adequate full time job opportunities in rural areas and villages in different fields by parting necessary training and guidance to the rural masses. more
