The reservation politics

So, if Your income is less than 8 lakh per yr or You have agricultural land less than 5 acre or Your residential plot is less than 1000 square ft
You belong to an ‘unreserved’ category (hence- upper caste)
IRRESPECTIVE of religion, you will be eligible for 10%

Eliminate all reservations then and just keep it based on the above. Having both is a killer. more

Reservations for EWS is going to fail in its aim as that for ST, SC, OBC has failed. Reservations policy for SC, ST, etc. is being availed by the creamy layers among reserved castes again & again. Reservations, etc. should be implemented in such a manner that once a person has availed this facility, no one in his or her blood line (sons, daughters, grandsons, grand daughters) will be eligible to get this opportunity of reservations. I think if this criterion is stipulated on reservations for EWS, then only the aim of uplifting everyone in economically weaker sections of society would meet its goal. more
With this policy of the government, we will have a new class of people i. e. tax paying poor since anyone having income above Rs. 2,50 lacs have to pau tax. Why not government take over education and promulgate law to make education compulsory and free uptill graduation so that no one would need any reservation? we will strong foundation killing the need and greed for reservation more
Rush, if eligible, to get EWS certificate before elections before its too late. 90% people r going to be eligible. Now there is left only 10% Economically Stronger Section(ESS). Rest of reservation should now be announced for ESS. more
Along with 10% reservation for economically backwards in all cast/religion in emploment, there should be free education to all SC/ST in all educational institutions (Both Govt. & Private) and for a OBC candidate only 50% fee should be charged in all educational institutions. more
All Learned Readers........In the present scenario, there are thousand and one Laws of the Land to implicate a General Category person even if an anonymous complaint is received from the Reserved Category person. My simple question to all the learned readers. Will there be a laws of the land wherein reserved category person tries to implicate a General Category person? more
