THEFT OF MONEY THRU ATM DEBIT CARDS.
If we intend to reduce the corruption,we have to make all cash related transaction through BANKS ONLY.We address corruption,other small pitfalls will get addressed.We need
1.More vigilance through CCTV at ATM
2.While using ATM,have another security measure such as send OTP or email,
3.For any transaction sms is sent.If the transaction is a fraud,contact bank immediately,and,customer is 100% reimbursed.If the fraudulent transaction is reported from 3 to 7 days,50% is reimbursed.
4.If the insider is involved in wrong doings,100% money is reimbursed as per RBI's announcement.
5.It is not easy to get away with "GREED" mentality.Only through system,good education,taking care of masses through various measures,poverty free society,Every one gets a job,country will improve its image.
6.Visit Countries such as Denmark,Norway,Finland,Sweden,New Zealand,
Australia,U.K.,North America,Japan,-why people in these countries live in a better way,and,they are stress free relatively,needs to be seen,and,take measure accordingly.
7.We want to develop smart cities.Most of the developed countries are of the size closer to our State.Let us develop SMART DEVELOPED CITY,show these example to less developed cities and try to bring them on line.

If Govt.of India and R.B.I. do not take immediate corrective measures for the ATM THEFTS via software/Fraudulent DEBIT CARDS, the people will lose, especially Elderly people and weaker sections (Ladies), confident in the withdrawal/remittance via ATMs and will resort to direct banking translation by visiting banks. Further, the use of DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD usage will be discouraged, NET TRANSLATIONS WILL BE DISCOURAGED, DIRECT CASH TRANSATIONS WILL INCREASE IN THE SOCIETY. more

For every transaction in ATM machine, if OTP is got through Mobile connected, then such thefts could be solved. But this is a tedious process. But considering the safety of funds in their SB accounts, and less botheration for Banks, this could be resorted to immediately. RBI may think about this and act at once. more

Though we expect more security from the Banks, we also should be careful to use the debit/ credit card. First and foremost is to delete the CVV details for credit card and avoid writing your pin number on the backside of the card or cover. Most of the petrol bunks, hotels etc. we simply give the card and type the pin number when he brings the machine. There is a possibility that they will simply note down the 16 digit number. After you key in your number, he can use a camera to photograph the keypad to get the pin you typed. Recent fraud involves the details collected through different methods. They will sell these information to another company for an amount. So, it would be difficult to find the source of fraud. Better not to keep open the door of our house and expect police to safeguard the house. more
