This circle came handy
Thanks Consumer Affairs department for enabling this useful platform. For those who are unsure about how this can be of great help. I and my husband were at a restaurant last weekend (an old and famous Delhi restaurant) and the restaurant gave us a bill with service charge and were not willing to take it off.
After back and forth for about 5 minutes, i took out my localcircles app and opened this very circle. it took me about 5 minutes to pull out service charge discussion and then i showed him the thread and said i will be raising this matter
right here right now and 50000 people from across india and dept of consumer affairs will be supporting me. Do you really want to get into this?
not only the service charge was removed we got a 10% discount for inconvenience. we happily tipped the servers all 10%.
