Tibetian Medicine

Hello. - Dr Yoshi Dhonden has been Dalai Lama's Doctor. He also headed the Tibetan med. centre Men-Tsee- Khang. But Dr Dhonden is now nearly 90, and does not head Men-Tsee-Khang. He has his own practice at/near Dharamshala, and sees only a fixed no. of patients daily. - Tibetan med. is a combination of Ayurveda & Chinese Med. They need the patient's urine. They also see the patient's pulse in detail. Also if any test reports are there , they will see them. - Men-Tsee-Khang has centres in various cities. If you are located in Mumbai, their clinic is at Malad West, very near subway. Pl. see their website. - If one has to see Dr Dhonden personally, one has to prepared to stay at Dharamshala for 2/3 days. - It is quite easy to go to Men Tsee Khang clinic. Also, their charges are quite nominal. - My late wife was suffering from cancer, but we came ti know about to Men Tsee Khang quite late. I could not even take the patient to Malad for examination by their Drs. - We did take their treatment, They had started with the excessive acidity problem, caused by Chemo. Due to my wife's deteriorating condition, we could not take their med. for a long time before she expired. So I really can not tell you about the efficacy of their med. But the price of their med. is so moderate, that you can surely try it anytime. - Dr. Dhonden's book does claim that he has cured Cancer patients ( but I think that, that would depend on at what stage the patient's disease is). I only tried one in the 1990s when I had gone to Calcutta. They fleeced me and the powder was not effective in controlling my arthritis. Of course, I was too impatient to give it another try because of the high cost implication.Homeopathy gave me tremendous relief in just a fortnight at zero cost! more  

I have used this Buddhist medicine for my blood sugar for more than 3 months but it was not effective Perhaps it may need long time. I have also taken treatment for my Ankylosis spondylosis but that is also not much effective. Hope the treatment need long more  

They have a centre at Nizamuddin near railway station. I tried their medicines for more than three months for diabetes. There was no relief. However they are very popular and individual experiences may differ. more
