TIGHTENING OF BELT THOUGHTFUL AND RESOURCEFUL GESTURE :

Particularly at the time of crisis where the Fiscal health along with the public health is struggling to revive .

The state is to exercise restraint on some areas where money is spent superfluously and the cut will not affect the regular function of the Government.

i)Banning of Foreign Travel at Government expenses.
ii) Restriction in air travel outside the state ,
iii) reduction in daily Allowance by 25%
iv)Presentation of Gifts Bouquets , Shawls etc.
v) Ban on Official functions of more than 20 members ,
vi) Ban on all official lunches and dinners .

The authorities have taken a lot of measures in public Health & hygiene . This one is vital for the finances and proper functioning of the state . Our longing and desire is that all these measures come to stay permanently .

Will it be too much if we ask for more curbs, restrictions on the following ,

i) Use of official Cars and vehicles for personal use ,
ii) Availing medical expenses abroad for Ministers and Politicians .
iii) Parliament & Assembly Canteens to give food on no loss no profit basis . - Jai Hind more

Just look at the flip flop within 5 days . How will the government manage the Revenue . Are they not interested in making the new and young ones to inovate , after all they have also been filtered through rigorous examps and interviews befor being posted . Should they also become puppets ? more
All Economic Welfare Programs must be LINKED TO WEALTH AND INCOME STATUS OF FAMILY ECONOMY .
Otherwise it is simply at the Cost of POOR , POOREST OF THE POOR .
Articles 38 ,39 41 are the minimum Mandates of a Socialistic Welfare State . more
Brilliant and timely suggestions by Mr Jayakumar! He's hit the nail on the head.. The Contagion Lockdowns have and should give everyone to think about their future activity plans. Life will not go on the way it was before the 22nd of March 2020. One thing is clear as crystal though: Things must change and with them also the attitudes, of both the government and the people. Because, Coronavirus has managed to attack almost every aspect of everyone's life and living. The country has taken and continues to take a huge, vehement fiscal beating. All of us must tighten our belts. The government too. This is a most appropriate time to lash the whip on every extraordinary and unnecessary perks yet being bestowed upon the Indian Babus in flow of the Rules that were formulated for the ruler white Brit. High Time to Change........for the Future of the Country !! more
Every Educated , Professional Family now TO USE MSME etc FUNDS FOR MAKE IN INDIA more
There are lot of items which are unnecessary spent as a matter of routine by Govt officials. Many meetings are conducted without any aim and snacks are served. Travels are made under Govt call the district official to bring the statistics data and other materials. Petrol to Govt vehicles are spent without any restriction of movement of vehicles, and filling of petrol tanks. Gifts are given indiscriminately. Compensations are provided whenever any opposition leaders compel Govt to provide higher rate. MPs and MLAs movements are to restricted in TA and DA.TOURING OFFICIALS must be restricted. Provision of Railway passes and concessional rates to their staff should be restricted. more

Two of the esteemed circle members have misunderstood that theses listed below are the suggestions from me . No not at all , these 6 areas where the Government has decided to cut expenses . SHULD WE NOT WELCOME ? i)Banning of Foreign Travel at Government expenses. ii) Restriction in air travel outside the state , iii) reduction in daily Allowance by 25% iv)Presentation of Gifts Bouquets , Shawls etc. v) Ban on Official functions of more than 20 members , vi) Ban on all official lunches and dinners . THE FOLLOWING 3 ARE OUR WISHFUL THINKING : i) Use of official Cars and vehicles for personal use , ii) Availing medical expenses abroad for Ministers and Politicians . iii) Parliament & Assembly Canteens to give food on no loss no profit basis . The above as well as the other innumerable subsidies will unfortunately equate out hon'ble legislators withthe the Freebee seekers . Then it will be a mockery , offer Freebees , come to power take yourself freebees . more
