time and money wasted for both people and country
The country is going to spend thousands of crores not to waste time of the people by going for bullet trains and hyper loop and what not. But the people who talk about this does not see the time wasted, fuel wasted(foreign exchange) at the toll booths all over the country. Can't blame them , they have VIP lanes so they do not waste their time and they do not burn their fuel.
The rule makers value their time as they have VIP lanes, and left the people to waste their time. The time wasted by the India public at the tolls and the fuel burnt ( paid for in precious foreign exchange) is million times that the money collected. The fast tag has become a joke, there are huge lines to enter the fast tag lane. Are these rule makers listening? They are least bothered about the difficulties of the people. The excuse the Govt gives is that they are collecting to maintain the roads.
The Govt is already collecting more than 50% of the of the money a person makes and still can't maintain roads or give good public transport.
Please stop wasting time of the public, collect your toll in the road taxes on the vehicle and leave the public alone. After all time is money for everyone.
We do not have any original Ideas , even if someone comes up with one the Govt guys will shut him up as they are scared to try, or simply do not have the brains to do it more

The ppl of the country is yet to see the BJP government bring in any effective measures to curb corruption . On the contrary the government is trying to dilute the already weak Prevention of Corruption Act .The government can only instill confidence on its citizen about its since intent to curb corruption by walking the talk by implementing Integrity Pacts in states, section 4 of RTI Act of suo moto publishing of information about detailed expenditure &others in their websites for information to the public and enact a False Claim Act which is an act to prosecute any individual/s stealing money from the government under a false claim any citizen can file a qui tam against such acts and on prosecution the penalty is thrice the amount of money stolen/misappropriated and the whistle blower gets 10-30% of the recovered money. more

The bullet train project is going to be a reality in 2022 . But I am startled to see some people's response on this project. With their logic we should not spend money on Space research , Aviation/ Planes (more costly) , Nuclear electricity etc also . more

The other side of the same coin i.e. every year and for years together thousands of children's death due to malnutrition. The Dept supposed to take care off, require Vehicles (Even A/c) ?????? to give the aid to these victims. more

I do agree with Sajjan Paul. The need of the hour is to improve the transportation infrastructure including rail. a showpiece bullet train will not solve the transportation needs of the people. more
