Time Gap between Partial Withdrawal

Hello All,

My concern is related to Partial Withdrawal for Marriage expenses. I read it somewhere that we can withdraw 3 times from my PF account for Marriage purpose.. ? if so, what should be the time gap between your first and second withdrawal.. I have taken out partial amount in the Month of November, 2016, for how long should I wait before I can submit the application again ?

Early response/direction will be much appreciated. more

Thank You All for your quick response.. Accept my sincere apologies for not being so clear... Let me try again, I have already drawn partial amount for my marriage held on Nov 2016.. My question is, is it possible to withdraw again for my sisters marriage, if YES, than there has to be some time gap before I can reapply ? as I have already drawn in the month of Nov 2016 Or I can apply right away.. Thanks again for your time and direction on this.. more
Your querry is not clear. 1st time you have availed partial permanent withdrawal in November 2016 and you would like to avail for marriage. Did you not know about the marriage when you applied for 1st withdrawal? Permanent withdrawal is permissible only three occasions and not times in entire service period and not allowed 3 times for marriage as marriage is not performed in instalments I would also like to advise you that before making such silly queries one should take pain to go through the PF&MP Act 1952 instead people have developed a habit of raising queries in Local Circle. more
Hi, Sumit, You have not mentioned under what purpose you have taken the loan. (Specific head like purchase of flat/site/renovation /education loan etc.,) Please check your balance available after partial withdrawal of PF amount. If you have to withdraw for your marriage loan. You can apply with invitation and your claim will be settled with in 15 days, subject to approval. (form 31 for loan form with support docs. Thanks and Regards, G.Kumar more
