Lessons must be learned from Afghanistan and China regarding border issues. The Taliban was founded by Pakistan to drive communists away from Afghanistan were funded by Islamic countries and US in the early stages .But after they succeeded ,it was left to fend for it self except from help from Pakistan and Gulf kingdoms.But they found a new way of growing poppy and producing deadly derivatives ,morphine,heroin etc which became the hub for international drug smugglers and it brought huge amounts of money and they continued getting weapons,food and misery to the world. Drug addiction is suffered by both producer and middle men and receiver .Crime grows on drug addiction and all sorts of illegal things thrive on it including prostitution , terrorism. In spite of best efforts from US and local drug enforcements it got reduced but could not be controlled in spite of stringent punishments. In China the border areas and the law defiant religious zealots inhabiting the areas did the same but the chines laws severe punishments put it down by death penalities by firing squads. The GOI has the duty to strictly not only monitor but also plug leakages and show some deterrence to the smugglers. Let there be raids with helicopters ,defoliants be used on poppy plantations ,death penalty be declared on drug dealers,peddlers ,producers.Indonesia has gone one step ahead and declared that drug addicts must surrender and all were hunted and jailed by the new president,to protect his population .Innocent civilians were protected from going in to addiction.Though it is severe but a small country cannot afford big addicted citizens,whole nations become ruined by inaction All border state governments if not acting against the anti nationals ,smugglers of drugs ,currency ,contraband they must be dismissed and governor rule must be brought in. This type of severe action if not taken now ,you find terrorist all over with the help of drug moneybags,we are ruined . Proactive governments are needed at the border states . more

I am wrting below whatever is coming to mind: There should be some advisory for the tourists about safty and movements. The police help should be readily available to tourists. Tourist should be advised to move in group. Some basic moral education should be part of the curriculam in cources of tourism industry, police dapartment and other related to the tourists. In cases related to tourists the justice and exemplary justice should be delivered fast. No criminals go without punishment. India is a big country needs more police. It tourists use Indian dresses they will enjoy more while touring here. more
