TOIs lack of ethics/Quid Pro Quo

The best way to get covered in Times of India is to give them ads. Reference today, some gifting site with hritik roshan gives full page add in TOI, he gets launch coverage picture in Economic Times.

So by doing this, arent you disadvantaging someone in ET who is worthy of real coverage in the paper. Guess that why TOI is called Toilet Paper. I may switch to Mint and HT. more

I agree that TOI is no longer the coveted paperit used to be with prime motive of good journalism. It is reduced at best to a purely commercial business which seems to be its prime objective. The ads are full page, after full page, that too the front pages. Gone are the days when it was a paper famous for good journalism. more
The newspaper "The Hindu" used to be reliable until about 20 years ago, but now this newspaper also is biased. Though its name is Hindu, its attitude is anti-Hindu. more
I totally agree with the views expressed above and that was the reason I wrote "To Pee or not to Pee" on my blog www.ooopz-dureha.blogspot.in. This was appreciated by many. Hope news papers will improve their coverage. I have already switched over from Times of India as I could not rely on the news coming from them and could easily visualize the bias in all their reporting. more
Sir, Thanks for posting your views about TOI, now days TOI has begun making money to core of cheating public with no claim conditions for advertising risks for everyone their own Times group products selling advertisement, the court of law and government regulations are not doing anything for this kind of publication company. We hope at least some one to voice up to take action against TOI. more
Yes any news paper gives more overages on Yakum Memon or Indrani Mukharjee , but ignore the peoples problems. They are supposed to help the common man than to polish reach. more
