Toll at DND and public inconvenience
The toll collection agents at DND have made life for all commuters terrible. They have put the barriers at each gate to check the movement of commercial cabs, buses and other vehicles. Moreover the entire stretch if full of plastic bags and there is dust all over the roads. Who is responsible for the maintenance for the DND despite tax being collected?
I think neither Delhi Govt, nor UP govt is taking the ownership of DND , they have left it to Tax collecting agents who are doing open gundaraj throughout the day. Request to all members to suggest a way out and save crucial morning hours.

There is a very simple way for seamless toll collection at DND. Make fastags mandatory for all cabs at DND and let the revenue collected at this toll plaza go to MCD. Fastag is being introduced everywhere gradually so introducing it here will be quick and easy. more

they have designated 04 lanes on extreme left side, still they occupy all lanes as if they own the complete place....this is ridiculous and inconvenience to all commuters....they should charge 4times the toll on all cabs who donot follow the lane discipline and then only some order will be restored... more

After the implementation of GST, it is desirable that commercial vehicles should move between two states without any entry tax. Hence the entry toll between UP/Haryana to and from Delhi should be abolished. more

Sumit Bajaj has rightly highlighted public inconvenience at the DND Toll gates due to collection of toll from the taxis & other non-exempt vehicles. Main reason for this nuisance is lack of 'Responsibility Ownership', since neither the Delhi Administration nor UP Govt/ Noida Authority are prepared to streamline the system. After-all, someone has deputed these tax collection agents and someone is surely accounting for the funds so collected. The problem is that of channeling the tax-paying vehicles into one/ two lanes, rather than putting barriers on all the gates and stopping all types of vehicles. Hope Delhi & UP Govts can create a joint solution, considering it as a NCR problem. Let there be no toll tax collection from anyone till a solution is devised. Let the general public not suffer merely because the two Govts cannot co-ordinate. It is sad that most of the Govt officials do have brains, but they are reluctant to use the same due to some self-conceived fears. In advanced countries such situations are forecast by Govt officials & solved before they tend to become public nuisance. Why are our officials sleeping ??? more

Yes, the toll shld be removed/waived off or make 2-3 separate lines for pvt. vehicles or taxies more
