hi alka, great to know that you have developed good oral hygiene habits and want your children to learn the same. But yes, brushing is usually not the most exciting things for kids so you need to supervise them. Regarding Toothpaste, in my opinion all toothpastes work more or less similar. Don't prefer to recommend use of whitening toothpastes as they have more coarse particles which tend to cause abrasion of the teeth enamel in long term. More than the toothpaste, the brushing technique is more important. always use a soft/ultra soft bristle toothbrush and change the brush every 3 months or earlier. Also, use a floss once a day. As regards children, Below the age of 4 years, kids tend to swallow their toothpaste so, its better to use non fluoridated toothpaste for them. GC Tooth mousse works very well as its got some remineralisation properties as well. for little older children a regular fluoridated toothpaste can be used in a pea size quantity. To top it all up, a regular visit to the dentist every six months will keep your teeth bright and healthy. more
