TRAI Guidelines are confusing

As per the latest guidelines issued by TRAI as reproduced below
- If a consumer has subscribed for a long term plan from the DTH operator, he/she will continue to enjoy all the services and benefits till that plan is expired. Post that, the new plans will come into effect. However, the base pack has to be decided before January 31.
--- A subscriber can request for disconnection at least 15 days in advance to the DTH operator. The DTH operator shall disconnect the connection and refund the deposit within 7 days subject to fulfilment of terms and
conditions of services.
However Airtel Digital Tv does not wish to commit to it & when the
matter was taken it was advised matter was taken with TRAI , it was advised to contact TRAI General Awareness Helpline at 0120-6898689 , who confirmed the latest guideline as above issued by TRAI & in case
AIRTEL still does not agree to complain at 'das@trai.gov.in'
But so far inspite of several reminders , TRAI has not responded
in the matter . Logically also before issue of revised New Guidelines needed for persons who were being charged for even those channels which they never wanted TRAI issued these Guidelines but persons already having entered into long term plan with service provider , if not complaining can /should continue with the long term plan
So it should be for TRAI to deal with AIRTEL suitably more

The Guidelines of TRAI, instead of easing woes of the consumers further complicated the entire issue leaving the consumers at the mercy of service provides. Earlier at least the Service Providers listening to what customers requests. Now they simply point to TRAI and keep quiet. Very Pathetic more
Sir Govt bodies anyways act like so many Governments as it is- each one so called different ? IS GOI REALLY BOTHERED ABOUT CONSUMER / CUSTOMER IN INDIA - SEEMS TO BE AN EYEWASH ONLY IN Rs 150 give us the 100 Channels we want then why not - even 20 channels a normal person cannot see due to time etc ? FIRST CONFUSE THEN HELP THE OPERATORS TO CHARGE EXTRA ? JUST KEEP FOOLING THE NATION ? more
Confusion leads to taking advantage from the customer, till it is further clarified. more
Instead of helping the consumers TRAI has helped the DTH & cable operators.By bring so called consumer benefits guidelines.I use to pay just RS. 169 + GST come to RS. 199/ month now it has come to RS 312/ month with GST. As dish TV has made such a package that to sell all hndi channels Entertainment & news channels I have to shell out one half time more/month due to this new rules imposed by TRAI. It looks like TRAI has hand in Glove relations with DTH & cable operators.at my office I have cable connection ,i used to pay Rs. 380/month for all channels like all Hindi & English channels & all sports channels now for RS. 390/month I can only see few Hindi entertainment channels & very few sports channels with this new TRAI orders. All DTH & cable operators are benefited with this new Rule of TRAI Anil Sheth more
Even I tried very hard to select my pack through dish TV site, on 32 Jan 2019, I could not do as site was very slow through out the day till midnight. more
