TRAI Must Not Ignore This…

Whether the viewers like it or not, agree with it or not, TRAI has finalized the Channel Selection Procedure by the viewers, to be communicated to their respective Service Providers by them.

And yet, TRAI has Goofed….!

Some days ago, I found that some Free Channels that I was watching, suddenly stopped the telecast… and a message appeared on the screen about “Sun Outage”.

I found that some other free channels, which I was NOT interested in, were still available for viewing.

Therefore, in my opinion, TRAI MUST conduct a survey about the channels selected by ALL the Viewers. Those channels, which enjoy maximum viewing, must have the best transponder and frequency for DTH operations, so that all those who wish to see those channels, can see them without any problem.

If this is NOT done, the most favourite channel may not be available for viewing to most of the viewers, who would be FORCED to see the TRAI favourite channels, in which one may NOT be interested.

I am sure, that considering the mindset, TRAI has neither thought about it, nor has conducted any survey in this regards.

Why a common citizen like me has to point it out to TRAI for a need for such a survey? Why can’t the TRAI think, what is expected by the common viewer? more

TRAI has goofed up big time. It seems they have started working for this big MNCs and service provider and started levying unavoidable charges on the helpless consumers. Firstly putting up minimum recharge for mobile phone network providers even if we have Lifetime Validity. Secondly to subscribe to individual channels as per preference. This caused more problems than relaxation as the channel providers were not getting their share of profit. Anyways this will bring more push to the new Web series providers which is gaining popularity with new, fresh and authentic content rather than the same old cheap comedy, exaggerated saas bahu series, brainless horror series etc. more
I echo the views about TRAI expressed by Mr Mangesh Anaokar and Mr Harish Patel more
TRAI and all service providers have emotionally blackmailed the innocent viewers. Individual can opt the limited channels but how joint family members have same choice? Children are interested in cartoon & entertaining channels, ladies are interested in serials and cinemas, youngsters are interested in sports, cinemas and English channels, elders are interested in news and knowledge channels. So service providers formed all channels in such a group that a family with more than two members have to persuade to opt more than three groups of channels, which costs lot more Than what they were paying previously. So bloody TRAI and all service providers made a plan with strange strategy to loot the viewers and they succeeded. Can you imagine how much it will cost more to viewers on all over India? You won't believe but it goes beyond thousand crores!!!!! It's not an exaggerated amount. It's a big and dirty game to loot Indian viewers which is already implemented. Please come forward and have strong opposition towards this enarchy in Indian history. more
There is a question of the satisfaction or requirement of the joint family. TRI and disc or cable connection providers have trapped the public in such a way that majority of viewers cannot opt limited selected channels. This entire procedure has taken prolonged time to negotiate TRAI and service providers to loot the Indian viewers very badly. How central government permitted this deal is a matter of fact. I assure you all this will be proved a propaganda of thousand crores one day. I myself was persuaded to pay 1.5 times more than what I was paying previously. This is a huge scandal. God may never forgive these rascals who loots Indian citizens in this fashion. more
It is true that we are not getting the Channels for which we have paid. Nobody accepts responsibility more
