TRAI please note: BSNL has no effective DND servic
TRAI may please note that BSNL offers customers no effective DND service. For several years my number 9434....567 is registered in full DND, blocking ALL unwanted SMS/ calls. But for last few months I am getting unwanted commercial SMS occasionally and even calls.
IGNORING TRAI's directive, BSNL OFFERS NO DEDICATED NUMBER TO FORWARD UNWANTED SMS , nor any email ID. Connecting to their 1909 to speak to an operator is VERY difficult, often takes 10-12 minutes!! Still I reported 4/5 times about the spam SMS, only to get a stock reply that my complaint is already taken and another complaint cannot be registered.
No improvement so far and I continue to get unwanted SMS occasionally. more

TRAI has become an on looker to the wrong done of the telephone service providers. IT seems TRAI has no control over the service providers. more

BSNL officials are considering themselves as they are above TRAI and takes decisions violating guidelines of TRAI. TRAI is only a spectator. more

I suffer the same problem. I am going to tweet it to Ravishankar Prasad. I am sure he will address this. Will get back if I get back response from BSNL office. more

tele operators are becoming a nuisance. I do not understand why they are in business if they are not making money and if they are making money why govt / courts are lenient on them to enforce minimum service standards. Looks like every body gets their due share of freebies or whatever. more
