Train Fare Rise - VALID ???

Train Fare Issues - People from Middle Income Group, they can manage their expenses & Higher Middle Income group doesn't bother much about it. I am more worried about people who are earning 5 to 10,000 monthly , how they can afford this raise??
The decision of raise might be appropriate/ Valid, but people living in this income group, it will be difficult time for them.
Secondly, Vendors whose business is depends upon the Rail Transport.. they will also raise the price of the commodities they are dealing with. which is reasonably true....but there are class of people who just take this excuse and increase the prices of the goods. At the end, we are the one who has to bare this.
Is there any way out of this ????? more

Half of the people travel with out ticket, specially in north , people who purchase reservation ticket is forced to stand and travel, u will never find TC ...If govt introduce stringent rules to tackle such people and impose fine they can pump crores into railway kitty. Introduce bogies with lighter weight so that engines can pull more bogies and inturn help to make money by allowing more people to travel with same costing on railway.... Put a tab on Theft happening in railway and even if railway sincerely dump the scrap which lying beneth the railway land it can actually collect 10,000 cr easily...in last 60 years no one bothered to check on scrap lying in railway land unused. whether its accident bogies , old sleepers , track, copper wires more
There are thousands of sq.mtrs land under railways. Lease them to private builders to build large commercial properties useful to rail travellers and general public. Use this money to subsidise general public travel .. more
Introduce private trains on railways by renting out rais per kms per use. Use this additional money to subsidise common man travel by normal trains. Rich people can travel by private trains and theyvatready pay fo the luxury... more
