Train Railway staff on Microwave use
I have noticed atleast 3 times now that Railways staff in pantry as well as IRCTC restaurants use thin disposable plastic containers in microwave to heat food. This is very carcinogenic. Railways must train its staff properly. FSSAI should also pay attention. The staff by the way takes it very very casually. more

yes it is carcinogenic and it should be banned concerned staff should be trained and advised. more

I hope Railway Ministry would take a note of above sentiments and find a practical solution to heat the food in train. more

Perhaps Railway does not have a system of staff training before they are put on the job, hence the do not have knowledge how much dangerous is the heating of food in the plastic containers. There may be many more such things, they will be doing without realizing the seriousness of it. Before also i wrote: Contract should be given to Reputed brands, who care about their brand image and provided services as per their standards. Else their is no chance of improvement. it is not the fault of employee, basically we live and are brought up in such working culture. Try in one train as a pilot project, give contract to a Brand, see the results, may be the culture slowly change. more

It's atrocious! How such things can happen & just blind eyes turned!!! Please See that such cases should not happen. It is bad blot on Railways when you have planned Bullet Train, AC locals etc. Jai Hind more
