Train Stuck , Passanger in Dark , No Railway staff / RPF / TTE Visible in Premium special 02504
The premium special is stuck in dark somewhere near lucknow - no railway staff visible - AC is switched off - Called Railway helpline, they will try to find out a solution - called DRM Lucknow 9794833000 - phone not picked up - Thankfully ADRM picked up and have assured quick action - waiting for further updates. more
With all the mess in the train, what is important is to see what is the follow up action taken by railways - am sure this forum is not supposed to be one way contribution. !! more
Now that the train is moving, request railways to arrange for ticket checking staff as well - it has been 24 hours since the train started, the tickets are yet to be checked ( I can vouch for two 3rd AC and one 2nd AC coaches). In case there is a refund request because of late running of train ( train started 6 hours late from origin) how is claim going to be ascertained ? One more update from the train :- packed leftovers of dinner (jutha) from disposed plates were found being reused by the catering staff and recycled to other passengers - passengers caught the staff and made a lot of noise - not sure if there is formal complaint or not this is something which is absolutely disgusting. ( hope someone from Railways is taking a note) more
