Train ticket cancellation loot
I want everyone to know that IRCTC has begun looting customers through excessive ticket cancellation charges.
If you by mistake book the wrong date or get your stations reversed (happens believe me) or have any other reason to cancel the ticket just a few minutes after, the railways will charge you 10% of the value as cancellation charges. This used to be 2%
Utter loot or shameless profiteering. Milk the customers who pay the most and soon their wont be anyone to milk.

travel only if you need. Don;t Book the ticket un-necessary. The Others will get chance. Nothing wrong in cancellation charges. For booking & cancellation same energy & effort required. Low Cancellation charges, lot of false booking. Nothing is wrong. more

A step toward privatization. They have made the slabs for cancelation which fixed as per class. Though you do not fixed amount will get deducted upon cancelation of ticket. more

Cncl is now become Railway's adl. SOURCE of income.Why travellers Penalise so Heavily? Some Emergency arises at the last moments (Medical/traffic etc.) & couldn't catch trn. ? U get 0 Refund.However,UR seat is mostly Allotted to others. more
