TRAINS DEPARTING FROM HOWRAH : GENERAL COMPARTMENT DOORS LOCKED AND PASSENGERS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER
Complains : There is no ladies compartment in Long distance trains departing frow HOWRAH. There are two general compartments. POLICES and RAILWAY staffs are intentionally keeping door of the compartments locked for half an hours and restricting passengers to get inside the train. They are tempting the passengers entering the general compartment and recording vedio. They are creating this problem to earn any additional money or not that is the question? more

If information given by Debolina Madam is correct, Railway needs a corrective action because General Compartment is for General Passenger , not for Police & other Security person their duties is maintaining Security in trains not restricting the passenger into General Coaches Unless & until Coach is over crowded or passenger is doubtful . I do agree with Sasianth Ji for Compartment doors which are locked at halt station where reserve passenger has to board. T.T . or other supporting staff in coaches be accountable for comfortable boarding of passenger carrying reservation for the coaches Coach position indicator system is a service which is really helpful for all but unfortunetly Railway is not serious in continuing or updating this system in plateform, need to be updated in every halt station. more

Yesternight, 30-1-2020, i was waiting for Kacheguda-Yashwantpur 17603 train at SHADNAGAR, the 2nd stop from Kacheguda. The train supposed to come at 9.50pm, as always, this time as well it was late 25mnts. first of all there are no coach position indication. Adding to this, the compartment doors are locked from inside. The train stops only for 2 minutes! Running passengers do have a real tough time. This is the 2nd time am experiencing this, first time, around 18 months back! more

Please ask for the complaint book in the station and write the complaint in it. There will be some action. more
