Transaction Charge Disclosure by banks
When one uses their net banking account to pay vendors etc, banks do not display transaction charges for NEFT RTGS IMPS. They keep raising these charges.
Can I request consumer affairs and the local circles to take up this matter such that when a consumer or a business is transacting, a display of transaction charge is made right then and there so consumer can decide what method to use.
Disclosure will increase consumer trust in banks. Right now they feel cheated upon. more

Yes , it should be stopped . because bank charges annual service charge also & it is deducted on quarterly basis . more

Banks are surviving NetBanking facilities for there simplicity in their business , they are making business out of it also. So, they must this service free ( wlo charges). That's what I am thinking. more

Yes, banks do charge as stated by Shikha Jain and at times do not inform consumers. Before charging Banks are supposed to inform and take consent of the consumers. In case of PIO payments whatever the Bank charges the same do not intimated as the transferred funds - debit amount. It is also to be understood why the shopkeepers using PIO service charge in the name of some Tax an extra 2%. Whatever the Bank Charges, the same have to be universally charged at the same rate and need be informed in advance. more
