Transparency and accountability in governance

As taxpayers, we have the right to know how the tax amounts are being spent. Frivolous expenses like freebies, populist schemes, should be curtailed and the funds utilised for development. Not providing free education but providing quality education which increases employability. Not acquiring new buses and metro carriages where kickbacks are made, but ensuring existing infrastructure is well maintained and efficiently utilised. Discretionary and arbitrary expenses by the ruling class should be stopped. more

Congress and The ministers have their monopoly during their long career. Some intellectuals like Chidambram ,Commu. Minister Raja and Kapil Sibbal raised benefit. They viewed that Manmohan Sinh was acting like a puppet. Sonia Gandhi was taken into confidence and others were wagging tales in front of Sonia Gandhi. The scams of Robert Vadra also encouraged them to warm their pockets. They simply believed and jumped in the corruption of ocean. Now CBI is in action under the guidance of SC and Central government. They will find these types of many scandals. The result what ever may be but one thing is quite clear that Conress is going to be uprooted. Rajeev Gandhi will be responsible for the criteria. Thank God we are free from the prison of Confess and heading towards the real Democracy. more
Just because things have not been as they should have been should not be an excuse for believing that government management cannot be improved. I agree with Hari, first the effort should be to bring the existing facilities to normally acceptable levels. What is the use of smart cities when we are not able to even maintain the basic infrastructure a city requires. Infact all our cities are just overgrown towns. Same applies to the attempt to bring in Bullet Trains. Focus of the Railways should be on better maintenance and gradual but speedy upgradation of the existing services. more
We know very well the results of the schools running by state and central government. Except CBSE schools the highschools have least ranking. No systematic education, no special classes for clever students. There is no importance of attendance also. The parents manage with the school administration. The tuition classes are almostly vacant during working hours. Students totally depend upon private tuition classes. Then how these schools existed. Fake attendance, fake inspection reports, fake reports of education inspectors. This is highly irregular and objectionable. Parents know the facts but due to low Marit of their students they are persuaded to take the admitions and carry on any how. What will be the future of those students? There are more than 60% students are sacrificing their careers. They adapt some ITI and computer classes without degree courses. The IQ of many students go in vain. This is the bitter truth of the educational wing. Some of the clever students students go to the shelter of huge industrialists. They offer them job with low remuneration and exploit them. Government should interfere and should change the system. Recently the tuition fees are restricted. Many many clever students will be benefitted and can fulfill their dreams. more
