When a couple of months back for the first time it was found that the covid virus is air borne and able to travel in air up to a specific distance, an advisory was issued even to keep the doors and windows of houses open so that the air can freely pass through along with the virus, if any, instead of accumulating therein. more
In an air conditioned environment, the same air is circulated and fresh air circulation is reduced. We were safe from virus, but it is otherwise in open vehicles like auto. Moreover, the air standard and the role of pollution control matters. more
As in any air conditioned space, the same air is recirculated, there is a chance for virus to spread. If there is a provision for air change or bleeding , airconditioned space is also equally safe, as there is an air filter to remove particulate matter. Open ventilation doesn't have this facility more
Ramchandran M. Nair has gone mad. What is the point in raising the issues of licensed prostitution and drug etc. here. If he wants to be a social reformer, he should start a movement for rehabilitation of prostitutes and drug addicts for providing them a nice life. Is he not aware that prostitution and use of canabis is legal in India too? Yes majority of people/workers use totally ventilated vehicles even in the scorching and sultry weather. Come down on the roads and only then you can understand the grassroot level problems and crisis Mr. Ramchandran. more
ELSEVIER is a publishing company based in Netherlands with a population density of 511 per sq:km. Sale and use of drugs is legal.Prostitution is legal. Strip clubs with sexual show on a stage is legal. They also have a great pollution control strategy. They have electro mobility. The highest temp ever was 39.1deg since they learned to keep a record.Today there are more refugees from middle east and other asian countries actively engaged in prostitution and drug marketing. Most use public transport which is air conditioned ( heating and not cooling) and they can afford to travel in "well ventilated" vehicles. None of the public transport buses or trains have a windows that can be opened. Another "copy, paste" artist. Have you been to Netherlands? more
