14. Honeycomb light weight structures, locking (not welded) panels should be used for compartment design so that in case of accident, people can be rescued by removing panels- without welding torches

1. Name of the stations along with the Direction indicating the side where Platform is coming may be displayed inside the coach by digital board. 2. The Coach should be made Airtight for better cooling with a opening at the top with Filter for stopping Dust. 3. The Ceiling Fan position to be changed and it should be at the Bottom of the Coach acting as an exhaust and giving an up thrust to coach for Fuel Economy. 4. My suggestions are excluding the above suggestions made by other Members. more

Exhaust at bottom would not be a better solution as it may suck some of the small belongings of passengers and get choked very frequently. more

I do agree with the suggestions given above but wish to modify one suggestion that 'The doors of the compartment should automatically close when the train starts moving and should not open while the train is moving' yes doors should be closed when train is moving but should have provision that in case of fire or accident, after the stoppage of the train or complete halt, Doors should have provision to open from inside as well as from out side. more

instead of emergency window full emergency door will be useful- fire extinguiser in the middle of the coach will be useful and awarness to passengers about the fire extinguiser to be created- more

Rather than just giving garbage cans etc the compartments should be fully redesigned to be more safe,comfortable ,quiet and clean.A better look and color should be given to coaches which should not fade easily,provide better ventilation,toilets should be redesigned and water tap should be placed appropriately,Ac coaches should have adjustable ac rather than just static port and should be adjustable,Charging points should have common looking buttons and on both the sides of 6 person and 2 person seats and not be patched ones looking ugly and dangerous,coaches should be given a new suspension system so they do not shake or vibrate much,Passenger seats should be redesigned and placed properly with proper headroom and leg room as for example RAC seats are small and also the confirm side upper seat is small to fit a single person to sleep,CCTV camera should be placed on all the doors so people don't smoke on the doors and near toilets,Lower berth should have an extra folding so it can be turned into a bed type so more people can fit in where there as confirmed and rac travelers on same ticket.electronic infotainment systems should be installed.Its high time we get a consistent looking coaches in all the express trains whether it may be rajdhani,howrah,duronto,gandhidham special or any other express train with new improved design where new features like proper storage space and locks are available with adjustable AC flow ( Not temperature ) and intercom facility where only Train Driver ,Train staff,TTE and police can be contacted.Also we should get facility to order food online from external vendors and hotels more
