.Ramps should be put on railway stations so that people on wheelchairs do not need to get on the tracks
.These ramps could be overhead as well as underpasses
.Elevators should be installed to get on to the foot over bridges to cross the tracks
.Battery cars could be operated on stations so that people can transfer from one platform to the other easily
.Foot overbridges should be made on railway crossings and unmanned crossings
.Walls should be erected on both sides of railway crossings so that people are forced to use the foot over
.Fines should be imposed on people crossing the tracks, especially on the stations
.6 feet high fences could be put up 50 meters on each sides of railway crossings
.The crossing gate should be covered up from the bottom so that no space for bike is left to pass under it
.RPF should be made responsible to make sure that no one is crossing tracks on the stations. more

Unmanned crossing had caused many accidents, though they were not much frequent. After looking the cases many crossing have strong enough speed breakers. No remedy can be better than this. But in the arms of technology, we can always have hooters at such crossings whenever train is moving towards unmanned crossing. We now have sensors that can register coming of trains. This devise with hooters as well as red light to glow. These may be powered by solar cell. Still another can be a mirror high up on the railing side of the crossing which may alert the driver about unmanned crossing. Sir, This is to make u aware that 12377 up and 12378 dn Padatik Express running between Sealdah and New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal has been recently extended upto New APD Jn. Stoppages have been provided in a less than 18 mins. Run and to less important stations where as there is no stoppage for the district headquarters and divisional town Jalpaiguri. It is not only for the importance of the one of the oldest town in North Bengal but there is a much need for the people of Jalpaiguri town and its greater area from where a mass people regularly travel towards south direction for need. More over after Mathabhanga the next stoppage is New Jalpaiguri JN which is approximately 100kms. The in between and important station Jalpaiguri Road Station (JPE) has been skipped for some unknown reasons. The people staying in between Mathabhanga and New Jalpaiguri are facing huge problem for this and has to travel not less than 45km by other means to board the train. Eventually when the train was running as Intercity between NJP and CBH earlier there was a 2mins stoppage at JPE ie., Jalpaiguri Road station. But noe when it is running as Padatik Express from Sealdah to New Alipurduar Jn the most needed Jalpaiguri Road Station has been deprived. On behalf of the inhabitants of Jalpaiguri and its greater area I demand and Request to your kindself to kindly reconsider and provide stoppage at Jalpaiguri Road Station. A mass movement is also under progress to take place in this regards. Hoping positive action from your end at the earliest and thanking you in anticipation.
