TTE's reservation can be reduced
TTE's corruption can be reduced. For that Mobile app or online system can be helpful. For example In a train, TTE will check the passenger has come or not. He will mark if passenger came and mark as passenger could not come to his birth. Then System will automatically inform related passenger of RAC/waiting list through SMS or APP.
TTE's work be only to input vacant and occupied seats to the system and solve the issue if arrived.
It will increase the revenue of railway also. For Example A passenger come to railway station he purchased General ticket, but he want to sit in reservation bogie as general bogie is full and reservation bogie some birth are vacant. He will go to TTE and give bribe to him TTE will allot seat to that passenger without making any slip.
But there will be online system/APP passenger will come to know vacant seat's in train. Then passenger will make payment online. Money will go to railway's account and passenger will feel he did right thing instead of paying bribe to TTE.

Ministry of Railway stop this useless drama.... 90% railway employees do not report on duty.. they pay bribe to supervisor and get the salary without doing any work.. 1st of all put all such employees in Jail and forfeit their all property and recover the salary paid to them... !!! more

There is no facility for postponing or prepone of tickets in IRCTC booking, as allowed in railway reservation counters, tell me WHY?Also same thing, these is no onward reservation facility available in IRCTC. Persons have to buy 2 or 3 separate tickets to reach destination more

TTE should not be allowed to allot the berth, They allot the last time cancelled berth to the people unofficially taking bribes & does not give berths to the RAC people, no check on them. They should SMS or email to the railway authority if there is any berth available & that too after clearing RAC and then it should be done thru computers , so that any person can see the the positions. more
