Looks like finally Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has ordered Naaptol to discontinue certain "misleading" advertisements & pay a penalty of Rs 10 lakhs for unfair trade practices; instructs the company to stop practices that seek to create artificial scarcity of products

Comparing the price and going for the cheaper one is understandable. But ignoring the quality, durability and after sales service where applicable is equally if not more important. Unfortunately most of us get lured by the price. After all these companies spend money on ADs which is not cheap and has got to be recovered, a fact we ignore. more

Moreover, let the govt announce that there shall be no advertisement in media including t.v.channels. this can stop such menace, I think. But can they? Never! more
