Two years free coaching programme for underprevildged students in Delhi for the preparation of JEE Main and Advance
Our objective in forming “UWF” is to work primarily in health and education sector. So, we have started our journey for serving community in education sector. For that we have done the survey of various government school students of XI and XII standard ( Science Stream only ) in which we found their is huge potential available with them to crack tough competition like JEE Main and Advance which help them to take admission in IIT's and NIT's to become engineers. But due to lack of available finances these students will never fulfill their dreams due to expensive coaching of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to crack such exam and stand on their legs . So to fulfill their dreams we have taken initiative to bring forth talents that remain untapped in children who don't have enough financial assistance to get proper coaching in their favorite subject viz. Science and Mathematics after 10th standard. As you are aware for such coaching students have to spend lacs of rupees which is out of reach for these students. This is a two years programme for underpriveledged children from various government schools ( only) in Delhi and NCR . Students got selected on the basis of entrance test and merit every year. Later we provide coaching of Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics subjects ( free of cost). We also provide them stationary, books and study materials pertaining to the respective subjects.
On September 20 , 2012, “UWF” has decided to organize a mega competition for selecting such students of 11th standard fom varoius government schools in Delhi. In the year 2012 we have selected 8 students only out of 65 students as this was our first year . These students are from very poor background where there parents are working as security guard, worker in small shop, farmer etc.
Again in the year 2013 on July 14, 2013 we have taken test and selected 16 students out of 87 students from various government schools in Delhi /NCR. All these students are talented enough to crack the competitive exam however, in lack of financial assistance they are unable to take expensive coaching from various private coaching institutes available. These students are also from very poor back ground and their parents are working as security guard, farmer, clerk in a shop, grocerry seller etc.
One student from batch I ( 2012-2014) has cleared recently held exam of JEE Main 2014. He has scored 97% marks in Mathematics class XII ( CBSE Board).
We are ready to launch our third batch of which entrance test date is 13th July 2014. So, I request all of you to please circulate this message to all government school students so that talented student will not lost their future just because their father is not capable to provide him / her expensive coaching.
Thanks to all of you in advance.
