UBER AND OLA
UBER AND OLA DOES NOT GIVE CUSTOMER CARE NO AND MAIL ID FOR RIDER CUSTOMERS. EVEN WHEN THE DRIVER CANCELS THE TRIP. THE CANCELLATION CHARGES ARE CHARGED FROM THE RIDER CUSTOMER, WHICH IS ILLOGICAL. IN SUCH CASES DRIVER SHOULD BE CHARGED HEAVY PENELTY ,EQUAL TO FARE OF THE TRIP, FOR CAUSING HARRASSMENT TO RIDER CUSTOMER WHO HAS BOOKED THE CAB TO MEET THE EMERGENCY AND BAD NAME TO COMPANY.

I KNOW THAT GOVT AGENCIES MADE TO CONTROL THESE PVT. COMPANIES ARE BEING CONTROLLED BY THESE PVT COMPANIES. NGT AND TRAI ARE EXAMPLES. THE ONLY SOLUTION IF IT THERE IS CONSUMER COURT. IN ONE COUNTRY WHEN THE FUEL PRICES WERE RAISED, ALL THE PERSONS LEFT THEIR VEHICLES ON ROAD. ULTIMATLY, GOVT HAD TO WITHDRAW THE RISE IN PRICE. WE ARE NOT SO UNITED. REGARDS, D K GUPTA

Dear all Users of OLA & UBER this is Bharat. Where individual is trated by dirt but organisastion which takes care of certain official at Govt. dept. , such organisations are trated like VIP and their looting of cutomers is always overlooked.

Very true. Plus the poor consumer (i.e. who has no 'connections') has no means of redressal. He can keep running from pillar to post, but no one cares to listen to him - for anything and everything!

Yes, I too had faced such problems and protested with the concerned officials; but in vein. If you refuse to pay the cancellation charges, even when the driver cancels the trip for his valued considerations, in your next journey they include this charges alongwith the fare and collect it from us. At the end, we are the loser. The concerned legal department should fix this issue through tough enforcement.

Ola has both e mail ID and customer care number for riders, so one can complain. Uber does not have for riders (only for drivers), so one has to complain through their app. However, having said that, Uber is more fair and quick in refunding, if there is a problem. Ola keeps dragging the issue, giving various excuses and putting the blame on customer. I have been using their services regularly for last more than one year, and this has been my experience. Totally agree with you on driver penalty.
