Ubers extortion tactic - unfair trade practice

Uber shame on you a friend sent this. Uber is telling some users your rating as a consumer is low and we will now deactivate your account soon.

In other words travel on uber again lots of times and rate the driver 5 star even if they are pathetic and beg them for a high rating so then u can continue using Uber.

I suggest consumer affairs dept takes action against such extortion tactics fast. more

This is deplorable and simply unacceptable...... However, one must ensure the authenticity of such ads...... more
This is really a bad practice causing trouble to customers unnecessarily by downgrading their ratings and charging cancellation fee forcing me to never to use uber again. Strict actions should be taken against uber not only for deriving extra money but also for mental harassment. more
Not only drivers rate u down, if ride is cancelled because driver refuses to go to that desitnation , even in such cases Uber is charging cancellation fee... these tricks for making extra money and duping customers. will Consumer Forum look into such matters ?? one off case is not good and hence Consumer affairs ministry must formulate some guidlelines to prvent this type of mischief along with surge-pricing and cancellation charges to be refunded if customer is not at fault.. their system can identify that its drivers phone/ ip-addrss which has cancelled the ride and hence they must not charge any cancellation fee. more
Uber and it's drivers have a very bad reputation. I usually avoid using Uber. more
