I was working in IBM until 2014 and attained the UAN no. But the company has not done my KYC. Now I had to change my mobile number and I am unable to do so, to check my balance or do a withdrawal or correct my name details As the KYC is not done by IBM. When contacted the company they are saying they cannot do the kyc and contact pf office. In pf office, they are asking to contact employer only. I am stuck. I am in Hyderabad and the pf office registered by IBM was R K Puram Bangalore. Kindly help what to do. more
EPFO does not want any member to withdraw their money; hence, they have introduced this KYC trickery - previous employer won't attest, online eKYC page of EPFO won't work, the grievance redressal system fails to solve any issue! I had similar problem. I followed the below process. Please login to the PF site and fill the KYC details and attach/upload required KYC documents, The KYC details(attached documents) will go for the company approval(IBM), your KYC will be done once approved by IBM company(mostly HR). more
In the case of Mr.sathya, I am of the opinion that since he has left IBM, approval of KYC updated now needs to be done by current employer. I am also not clear about how UAN is carried over when we keep changing our employment as authorization key lies with employer. I am also struck like mr.sathya. more
Dear, you can update your KYC online after that you can forward the E-mail to the head of HR offically. He can verify the updates. Weather you are working with them or not doesn't matter. Approved by employers has to done. more
