Uncontrollable Laundering to Amnesty

There is a set of citizens that believe that the Government was unable to control the laundering and therefore announced the 50% amnesty scheme.

The scheme allows anyone to pay 50% tax and convert black money into white money. 25% will be available for withdrawal immediately while the remaining 25% will be available after
years.


Many professionals are questioning this whether demonetisation was a worthy exercise and was the pain and slow down in consumer demand worth it if the black money hoarders will be able to convert their money into white with amnesty.

After all black money is earned but retained without paying tax. Voluntary disclosure with 50% tax may not be bad. But it should not be applied to bribe money, extorted money, drug money or any other money earned with unlawful method. more  
It is well known fact that most of the business man including factories owners have deputed their work men to deposit their money in emplyees account. Many employees has been forced to open multiple accounts for this purpose. IT department needs to scrutinise such new accounts and catch the defaulters. more  
5 Point solution: The current Govt has chosen a great time to declare a "War on Corruption." The majority of the citizens are still honest, they can crush the few corrupt that have been looting India for 70-100 years. But we do have to hurry. Crooks/Anti-nationals still have a lot of money to buy the media and influence. Actions to be taken very soon: 1. CBI along with the support of the Honest common citizens should gather information, sort the list, catch the top criminals first, get the money out, start developing villages right away. Then find out the details whether someone stole 10 crore or 11 crore. First catch and clean. Possibly CBI already has a list of top suspects. 2. Clean up the judicial system - still many judges are honest, take their help throw the corrupt ones, hire young patriotic people, double the strength, speed up the process by 10 folds. Take help from the military. They know how to do justice quickly. 3. Catch the known corrupt bureaucrats, ministers, MLAs, MPs and their relatives, get all their money out, none of them could hav made more than about Rs 2 crore from their legal salaries. Anyone above 10 crore is corrupt with a 99% probability. 4. Those who have made money by adulterating food, medicine, importing illegal drugs, or exploitation of women and children, should be punished right away, ask detailed questions later. 1 billion people will support this move. 5. Seal the border, thousands of terrorists black money printers/distributors, hardcore criminals, weapon smugglers are entering the border areas. Seal the border and screen village to village to catch these criminals. The locals will help as long as their identity is protected. Double BSF and paramilitary force to do so. In this world there is no legislation which is foolproof. There is bound to be some unintended loop hole as also there are some people who manage to circumvent some of the provisions. It is a continuous process of fight between law makers and law breakers eternally. We cannot wish it away. more  
yes, something is better than nothing. The most culprits are our politicians who are investing at abroad . They are shameless . There are lots of loophole in the system more
