Under ground Metro Projects

As part of our discussions on the subject, I have drawn some extracts to PMO to stop thrid phase of Metro Project considering ground levels. As this is a soil with heavy salt water stagnation, leading to land slides more. One side builders digging kilometers in depth as well underground Metro project. It wont be a surprise one day chennaites will remain with heavy earth quake. To avoid such it is suggested to stop third phase project as well heavy constructions in and around the city.
Facilities should be extended to non facilitators, not that all are at one shot .

iran Iraq and turkey are bombed no earthquake . Let us give positive solutions. if not one day we have to walk or use bullock cart to go to office and other places. Tami nadu will be behind by many years more

All such activities are not good in the long run. Flyovers can collapse, underground metro can cave in, bridges can break, cause accidents. But what to do?. These things have become necessary. Such things must be erected with due care and all safety precautions have to be taken. If they are going to cause earthquakes, the buildings must come up which can withstand them. People must be made aware what to do in times of earthquake. Same is the case with, may be, Hydrocarbon project or Atomic Energy. they may be necessary for us, but with due precautions. more

Definitely the Metrorail in underground in CMRL phase 2 project will bring land slides minor earth quakes etc in Chennai more
