Under threat by BWSSB
RWH is a "golden harvest" for all but for the common man. BBMP. BWSSB, their approved contractors, the Resident Welfare Association management, and suppliers of PVC pipes and other articles. Under threat by BWSSB our residential complex (two 10 level buildings and almost 7000 sq:m land area our Owner's welfare association spent Rs.4.12 lakhs on RWH. They even paid 50% of the total amount one month in before the contract was finalized by a "CASH CHEQUE". They dug up a fairly good asphalted road around the complex. This happened in June 2012 (after owners occupied their apartments in 2002) and till today no one knows if it is working, no maintenance, and now with the renovation work of the common area most of the PVC pipes are broken. Who benefitted? Everyone except the Apartment owners.

BWSSB, BESCOM, BBMP and these Government agencies are there only to loot and take bribes. Once an employee of these Government organisations then it is his birthright to collect bribes and make crores and crores more

Residents need to take a joint effort not only the MC at the time to review these things regularly (proactive maintenance) is required. RWH is required, but key here is the manner in which it is implemented - that should always be in the hands of the RWA, and if need be, guided by qualified consultants. more
