Understand how Covid and Deteriorating Air Quality will work

Air has started deteriorating friends. Covid causes massive damage to the lungs, leading to severe respiratory trouble and pollution and smog in the air will aggravate respiratory issues caused by coronavirus and lead to further infections.

Covid-19 pandemic, co-morbidities such as high blood pressure, diabetes and heart diseases increase the risk of complications or death. In the presence of these conditions, the risk of dying or having a complication increases two to three folds. Air pollution might make things worse because it can worsen a pre-existing condition such as lung or heart disease.

CM of Punjab and Haryana and Delhi along with Central Govt Environment and Health Ministry must be working 24X7 together to avoid this crisis.

By October end we will be at 600 AQI if nothing is done. We will need to share this everywhere if we want Govts to act. Otherwise, we face consequences and they won't be pretty. more

Vehicular pollution is some thing that is year round ansd steady . Crop burnng is seasonal particularly starting from October till Jauary. It adds on to the Vehicular pollution of Delhi. If any one remembers what was the outcome of Crop burning last 2 seasons can send a warning signals. Dont ever forget the comments and advises from * the pulmanologists, *Paediatritions, *ENT Specialists of Delhi. All of them attributed the to poor Air Quality of Delhi. The bad luck & destiny Delhi Children and elders are expressed. Delhi Vehicular and garbage pollution is an every day affair. Why add Fuel to Fire with seasonal addition too . IN THE LIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC,IT IS KNOWN TO AFFECTS DIRECTLY THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM (prana the breath of life). HAVING A SOUND RESPIRATORY SYSTEM IS ALL ABOUT BREATHING AND CLEAN AIR,IF NOT, AT LEAST LESS POLLUTED AIR. It should be every Delhiites concern now to prevent a repeat of the tragedy that was experienced painfully past 2 seasons. TAKE THIS AS AN ALRM BELL . One needn't be qualified medically to know about COVID -19 . Just listen to the interview of Dr. Randdep Gularia , Director, AIIMS every Saturday at 9.30 PM. Authentic news on COVID19 in INDIA.He is interviewd by an anchor not medically qualified. more
