Do share your experiences, outline issues and share ideas to address this situation.

The myth that all educated must find employment is leading to this frustration.Mst want to be employed in govt sector due to comforts like non performance, indecscipline ,leave misuse, salary, pensions .No accountabilit6 is the most attracting factor. The other pvt jobs are for skilful people whopurpt their heart and soul therefore their bread depends on their performance ,and scare of removal. This is the only way for countries performance economy wise. If we removepermanancy inmajority governance, make contracts then the performance will improve,so is the GDP. The other factor of under employment is overblown.By giving ,doles to all and free insurance, free rice, free health insurance and reservations a new class of lazy population has developed and increasing day by day.The political parties ruling are doing cheap appeasement politics emptying govt treasury and pushing development down or into debts. Now you do not find BPL families but only on paper .true audit will show that majority of govt concessions in the name of BPLis being swallowed by these so called under employed ,unskilled, lazy ,casteist class blackmailing the govts in the name if further reservation than they have including thecreamier section.Falsificationof records, corrupt officials issuing certificates of income, caste are poisoning the records. Only a tru social audit will bring out th3 truth and many so called unemployed are falsifying they are earning money in different self employed fields but create media hype that they are suffering . more
Over population is the root cause. We are most incompetant to export our product in international market. more
The Population increases exponentialy, so will unemployment. Even if all eligible say a million are employed today, next year an army of 1.2 million or so will ask for employment. 60% posts are reserved & only 40% good quality will come through huge expensive establishment of UPSC competition as reserved castes even securing zero, will have to be employed for filling up the vacancy. Height of the matter is that they get PA even if not able to write a page by themselves what to talk of giving dictation. Every one is sucking blood of Govt. Pay commissions are careful of their nears & dears, want to increase to recommend as high as possible. VIth pay commission recommended Rs.15625/- for Rs. 12000/- in 5th Pay Commn) but Rs.37000/- for Directors & Joint secretaries who were in Rs.14000/- & Rs.18000/- basic in 5th pay scales. It is not understood as to what was the compulsion to agree to recommendation. Now the PA's, PS, PPS are raised to the level of Directors or even Joint secretary without passing IAS or some other Allied services competitive exam. A few years back none departmental promotee could be imagined to have reached Sr. Administrative Grade of Directors (usually IAS) but in Cent. Electricity Authority almost all non graduates diploma Engineers belonging to SC/ST became Directors, whereas Graduates/IIT retired as Dy. Directors. Who is bothered of the Country. The Govt. fixed Min salary at Rs. 18000/- Pm. Kejriwal promptly fixed posters that the Govt agreed to increase Min Pay to Rs. 21000/- pm only against AAP’s demand of Rs. 24000/-& threatened to sit on Dharna if the Min pay is not increased to Rs.24000/-PM . Now think the plight of Pvt. Sector small time Shops in local areas / Firms in Sadar/ Karol Bagh/ Khari Baoli (Persons hardly get 5000- 7000/-)How can small time shop employ 3-4 employees. If they pay 21000/- then they have to at least earn more than Rs. 1 lakh. IN NUT SHELL WE HAVE TO FRAME POLICY TO EMPLOY AT LEAST ONE PER FAMILY. IF WE COLLECT DATA WE WILL FIND 4-5 or more EMPLOYED IN SC/ST FAMILY. WE CAN EMPLOY MORE IF THE PAY IS RESTRICTED TO Rs.10000/-. OUR COUNTRY IS RICH W.R.T. PAK / BANGLA DESH BUT POOR W.R.T. USA. SAME WAY EMPLOYEEs GETTING Rs.10000/- IS RICH WITH RESP TO 70% GETTING HARDLY Rs.5000-8000/- pm IN PVT. SECTOR. NOW SOLUTION AS TO HOW PAY CAN BE REDUCED TO EMPLOY MORE HAS TO BE FOUND TO SAVE THE COUNTRY TO BECOME BANKRUPT TO PAY TO ABOUT 1 CR. CENTRAL (40 LAKHS) & about 60 LAKH STATE GOVT. EMPLOYEES.IN NUT SHELL WE HAVE TO FRAME POLICY TO EMPLOY AT LEAST ONE PER FAMILY. IF WE COLLECT DATA WE WILL FIND 4-5 EMPLOYED IN SC/ST FAMILY. There is acute shortage of skilled workers and simple graduation is only making white collar employees, who are craving for office jobs or Govt jobs and not producing real life workers. Yes MNREGA is also making workers lazy for doing farm work or similar jobs, Hence there is need to expand the Industrial Training institutes and similar skill development institutions after school, while colleges must also focus on vocational courses, instead of BA/ B Com, which may have very limited utility in real life. Also face of government jobs must change with accountability, and not just permanent jobs, with no liability and responsibility. Thanks more
The MNREGA has created a situation where the industry is crying for shortage of Labour and there is a hue and cry for employment. Most of this hue and cry for Government jobs. The salaries and perks are raised to a level where the PHDs are trying for a peon's job there. Secondly the the poor education standard has created an army of certificate holders who cannot write an application for employment but still want a white collar job. We need skill training to fill up the demand for Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Masons etc. They are in great demand. At the same time we need a all pervading Family planning policy like one child norm so that better life style can be achieved for masses. more
